From Scott's first visit to Spartan Speedway at the age of 7, he knew he wanted to race cars. It wasn't until 2003 at the age of 42 that he started to live his life long dream of racing. His first race car was in the four cylinder front-wheel-drive Pony Stock class. At the end of his first racing season at Spartan Speedway, he earned the title of "Rookie of the Year". In late 2003, he completed Track Time Driving School at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. |

In 2004 Scott raced his Pony Stock car at both Spartan Speedway and Springport Motor Speedway. He finished with an impressive 6th place in overall points for the year at each track.
For 2005, as a single father of 4, he managed to raise his children, maintain a full time job and build his race car from the ground up in only 8 months. Despite getting a late start in the 2005 season, Scott managed to finish 10th in overall points at Spartan Speedway and 12th at Springport Motor Speedway. |

At the close of the 2006 racing season at Springport Motor Speedway, Scott finished 2nd in overall points. Likewise, at Spartan Speedway, he managed an impressive 3rd place in overall points for the year.
One thing fans and sponsors can count on is that Scott will always show up for every race. He is a clean driver, and will always provide you with an exciting performance. |
